Pantshunt ends Friday!

There are so many striped pants made in SL, far greater than these even! But I was watching some horrible cartoon with my daughter the other day and I really liked the colors of the pants on the weird blobby thing pretending to be a pirate and I wanted to make/wear them around Lloyd. And then, because I'm a color junkie... I made 10 other colors. SO! what I've done is stuck them in little sculptie thimbles and scattered them around Lloyd. Each is 1L starting with a large one in the Lobby of the motel... very easy to find. They're out there till Friday (unless I forget, whence they'll be there longer) so I hope you find 'em and I hope you enjoy.

Amazingly

I've known Manatee McMillan virtually since we started the Thimbles shop, adored her since then, and I'm really pleased to finally announce that she's set up with us at the Starlust Motel. This is her gorgeous Guppy Dress in White. It also comes in black, red and a delicious yellow.
This photo was taken falling off the edge of Mount Lushmore on the sister sim of Floyd, which I have no idea when will be opening... but you can bet your bippy that it will be just as wonderful and exciting as Lloyd!

そしてそのNoteをStein Shilovaに渡します。

※Invnetory>Create>New noteで、作成したNew noteをrenameしてCONTESTとします。

Photo Contest! You too can be superawesome!!!

You all should know by now that we are having a LET'S-SEE-HOW-MUCH-LLOYD-STUFF-YOU-CAN-WEAR-AT-ONCE CONTEST at Starlust, Dogtown, and the rest of the sim, Lloyd. There are three categories that you can enter. BEST UNCONVENTIONAL, BEST GLAM, AND BEST CASUAL. You can enter each contest, but you can only enter once. Now, you just need to sort through all the stuff you've gotten here, freebies and not so freebie alike. Then I want you to take some sassypants pictures, stick them in a notecard titled CONTEST, note what/who you are wearing after each pic and which category the pic belongs in. Once you have all of that, please drop the notecards to me, STEIN SHILOVA. If you just give me images not in a notecard, they will be deleted without warning.

Ok, now we get down to the stuff you should be paying attention to... There will be cash prizes. Yes, I said CASH! So far we are at 2000L for first prizes, 1000L for second, and 600L for third. I'm saying so far because I'm sure these prizes will grow. I will keep you updated about the prize moolah as the pot gets bigger. I will also be giving out a Miss/Mister Congeniality prize for the best pic taken on Lloyd grounds as well. The winning pics will be displayed in the lobby as well as posted on this blog and used in all sorts of other fun things.

All notecards must be dropped to me no later than MIDNIGHT (SL time) on the 15th. Late notecards won't be accepted. WINNERS will be announced via notecard, group notice, and blog post at NOON (SL time) on the 21st. I hope you guys got all of that. Oh, one more thing, please don't doctor the photos too much, k?

Dirty Bathing Beauties.

Marleen Vaughan, tonight, threw a folder at me that would contain an outfit that I will be wearing for days. If not weeks. If not for the rest of my second life. IF I had sparkly fabric in real life I would staple pieces together to recreate this (so as to avoid actually trying to find what she based it off of... which would require leaving my house) and then I'd dance around my bathroom and take photos and photo shop a bar across my real life saggy bosoms and send that to her. WHICH she may or may not find creepy. Maybe I'd cross a line. Who knows, the point is: I so adore this bathing suit that I need to share it with you. The Genius of Marly lies not only in the suit itself but that it comes with a prim "shame censor" which Mel and I chose to wear for this photo as it would appear on the feed. That said, I'm going to go back to photo shopping more photos of my avatar and her avatar together and drawing hearts and unicorns on them.

Newness at Split Pea

Released this week to the I <3 Starlust group is the Split Pea Hat - you can pick up a copy by joining the group and checking notices. The awesome designers of Starlust have been giving out freebies to the group and putting up new freebies in their stores and in the reception area of the Starlust Motel!


Also just released is the Maude the Mod Headband. Its in Split Pea's store (room 13 at the Starlust) and will be at Pudge's Cheeseburger. It was made to work with Pudge's new hair Maude the Mod (adoooorable hair!!) The flower petals are color changing so you can click each petal and make any color changes you'd like! GOOOO nuts (like me)!!


I also released the Violets are Blue Hat. It was created to go with Heartattack & Vine's Roses are Red dress. It also works best with Marly's Slim Pixie Hair.
